February Crystal of the Month - Lapis Lazuli

The energy of Lapis Lazuli is a late afternoon sunbeam reflecting off of the peaceful waters of a lake in a clearing of a vast forest.  The waters are gently rippling from the light breeze.  The lake is deep blue and the sun is twinkling golden light, peaceful, serene and enchanting. This is the image I receive in my mind’s eye when I hold a piece of Lapis Lazuli in my hand.  The blissful feeling of being present by this wondrous body of water with the warmth of the sun on my face brings me to the center of my being.  It is grounding and protective energy, yet I feel I can safely travel to far off places. 

 Lapis Lazuli is a stone that can very easily take you to where you want to go within your spiritual journeys and meditations.  In my experience, it aids in connecting me to my spirit guides and facilitates open communication.

 It is a stone known for its ability to assist in astral travel as it connects the physical and celestial realms.  It allows for wisdom to flow freely between you and your spirit guardians and is deeply peaceful and comforting.  Lapis Lazuli is a great choice in enhancing dream work, as well.  It can protect against psychic attacks and remove negative energies.

 Lapis Lazuli is an incredibly powerful stone for traveling into mystical realms and for deep spiritual development.  No wonder it has been used for thousands of years by ancient civilizations, such as on the ceremonial robes of the Hebrews, for this very reason. Aleister Crowly included it in his channeled Book of the Law where the palace of Nuit (often depicted as a celestial body of stars and the night sky) has floors made of Lapis Lazuli.

 I encourage anyone wishing to enhance their spiritual practice and clear the lines of communication with their spirit guides to obtain a piece of Lapis Lazuli.
